Exploring Locally

One of the things that I like to do is explore.  I like to walk new paths or find new parks or visit new locations.  So, I decided to start sharing those explorations.  I've been a local for basically my whole life, but still find new things in and around Livingston County.

Our explorations tends towards the cheaper side of things, though we have the occasional expensive endeavor. My companions include the (almost) seven year old A and the (almost) two year old S.  This summer, we're going on a "mission"  to find all the local parks in Livingston County, most particularly, all the playgrounds.  We'll be checking out the options, including schools and neighborhood parks, as well as state and Metro Parks.  We also like to explore new trails for walking/ strollering/ biking.  And, we do a little Pokemon along the way, too.

For inclement weather, we've been looking at options for getting out to play or explore as well.  Sometimes we all just need to get out and/ or burn some energy.
